Must-know information
- General rules
- For a general overview we recommend checking: https://www.brides.com/wedding-etiquette-tips-for-guests-4704983#toc-wedding-etiquette-for-guests-before-the-wedding.
- In case of emergency on the wedding day, please don’t call the bride and groom directly regarding this. Contact either the best-man Dean O’Dwyer or maid of honor Kasia Ferenc for aid.
- What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
- We recommend to arrive latest 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the church ceremony. It will be safe to arrive at 14.40 for example 😊
- Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
- Yes. Please e-mail us latest 10-14 days prior to the wedding so we can inform the chef’s regarding this. Later will probably also be ok to message us if for any reason you couldn’t inform us earlier.
- For your own comfort we’d recommend you to e-mail us at apw@agapetterwedding.com regarding this matter. The earlier we receive this information, the better solution we’ll find for you.
- Is there anything I should bring as a guest?
- We would recommend to bring a small umbrella, in case of the rare occasion of rain.
- Are there any cultural traditions or best practices guests should be aware of?
- No phones or picture taking in the church.
- A few minutes after the bride and groom arrive at the venue there’ll be the option to congratulate and/or have your “speech” directly to the bride and groom. Follow the line (or ask a polish person once you’re there), and you’ll understand how it works 😉.
- Where will wedding updates be posted?
- We’ll post all wedding updates on the website. There is also a wedding chat where it’s possible to ask questions, we do ask you to follow the guidelines on https://agapetterwedding.com/contact/ for how to proceed.
Pre-wedding venue information:
- Will there be a shuttle-bus from the hotels to the church?
- Yes, bus will pick you up at your hotel, will drive to the church and later to the venue. At night there will be a mini bus driving guests back to their hotels around every hour from midnight.
- Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
- There might be a 15-30 minute gap. In general we’ll try and not delay the time for dinner.
- What is the weather and climate like in the area?
- Normally the temperature ranges from 20-25 degrees Celsius during this time of the year. A few days it could exceed 30 degrees C. Hopefully there’ll be a day without rain.

- Am I allowed to bring my children?
- If it says so in the invitation. Or else we’d prefer if you ask.
- Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I’m in town for your wedding?

- We would love to hear your wishes personally after we arrive at the venue. There won’t be official wishes during dinner, mainly because not everybody speaks English and it it’s not a tradition known in Poland.
